1. What we collect

Account details you give us: name, email, role, country, and for teachers a subject, bio, teaching level and verification documents. We also store profile pictures you upload, your schedule entries, follows and subscriptions.

2. Activity data

We record live chat messages, moderation actions such as chat bans and their reviews, stream reports, viewer presence while you watch a live class, and replay view counts.

3. How we use it

To run your account, show the right dashboard for your role, deliver public and premium streams and replays, keep chat safe, handle reports and appeals, and notify you about things that affect you — such as a teacher you subscribe to being suspended.

4. Service providers

Video ingest, playback and recording are handled by our streaming provider. Accounts, database and file storage run on our managed cloud backend. These providers process data only to deliver Class Connect.

5. What others can see

Teacher name, subject, bio, level, picture, schedule, follower count and public replays are visible to anyone browsing. Student accounts are not listed publicly; a display name appears next to your live chat messages.

6. Retention and your choices

You can update your profile and delete your own replays at any time. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your profile data, keeping only what we must for safety records or accounting.

7. Waitlist

If Class Connect is not live in your country, we store the email and country you submit so we can tell you when we expand, and nothing else.
